That doesn't matter. Most players start rapidly declining in their mid 30s. It isn't worth trading away a lot of good young players for an aging star who most likely has a 1-2 year widow of performing at a very high level. Damian Lillard wouldn't put the heat over the hump to win a championship.
I just don;t understand how Dame could accept a state of dissatisfaction with a team other than the one he wanted to be traded to. To get this message fully across, Heat would have to beat Bucks again, which is quite a long time away. One thing for sure, the Blazers guy involved in Trading Dame did not give Dame the respect he deserves.

Last year was statically his best year. The Blazers sat him 'injured' in order to tank for the last 2 years. Face it - Miami blew it.

Lillard expanded his teams to Heat, Bucks and Nets. He got what he asked for.
