There's a couple trades that could make sense (none of them involve Herro). Either Lowry/Dipo straight up or maybe Lowry/Duncan/future 1st for Harden/Tucker. But I bet Harden is on the Sixers at the start of the season: we saw with the Ben Simmons debacle that Morey is willing to let thing get ugly and will have crazy asks to start. I guarantee we're about to here that Morey is asking for PG13 or Kawhi from LA and Herro and multiple picks from us

if we can convert Lowry + dipo + picks to harden, then go. beggars cant be choosers i guess

Bam's ppg would jump by about 4-5, for sure.

Agree but he has one year left. If it's for Lowry I would do it. One year left for both but this way it at least changes the team a bit instead of running it back. Again, I prefer almost anyone else lol but if for the right price I would be okay with it for one year.

I agree, and I'm just like others that don't want harden here. Since it's for a year and can trade Lowry and oladipo contracts I can see that maybe....but only as a last resort. If we can't get dame or can't aquire some good talent to help bam at pf/c position, then maybe I can see it, especially if you don't wanna run back the same squad. Maybe he can make bam and herro better with his 10 assists a game. I understand that it's a bunch of Maybe's lol, but that's why I said I would only do it as a LAST RESORT.

This may be a lttle act of subterfuge in dealing with Portland. Don't want them to think that, in the words of Richard Gere, in Officer and a Gentleman, when Lou Gosett Jr. as his drill instructor tells him he's going to be kicked out of flight school, says, " I got nowhere else to go."

First thing I thought as well. This is a smokescreen. Now if Philly wants to give up Harden for peanuts....

For peanuts he is still worthwhile, actually really good. But, doesnt seem like a classic Heat Culture guy. Got a lot of narcissism in his game.

Harden might ask out after a week in Heat training camp haha

Agree. The one thing I would feel okay with Harden coming here is Spo and Jimmy. Embiid is so damn soft that Harden didn't get held accountable for some of his disappearing acts. Embiid immediately after that loss to Boston "James and I can't do it alone" crap. Charmin soft.

Really? Wow... Mfers will 'report' anything these days I suppose

Wow James Harden?! Nope

Didn't want him when he was trying to get out of Houston. Don't want him now. I would literally rather have Oladipo on the court in crutches next year.

Harden to Miami and I ll change the team to root for.

If the Heat are offering Lowry and Oladipo, this seems like an upgrade. Heat throw in Cain, Sixers throw in a second round pick. Otherwise he's not worth it.

I agree with this. I don't want Harden but if it's for Lowry then yes. Harden still averaged 10.5 assists per game and one could argue he helped Embiid win the MVP from all the damn assists he was getting from Harden. He would definitely provide more than Lowry lol. I know different positions but still.
