Touché. Been a Blazer fan since 1970 when I was in the womb. I actually like the Heat and love coach Spo who got his start in PDX. I am just having a little fun with you Heat fans. I think Riley let his pride, ego, and a good dose of hubris get in the way of making he Heat a better team this off-season. Am I wrong?
Suck it Pat Riley. Tried to play hardball with the Blazers and watched Milwaukie and Boston get significantly better. There is no way the Heat can spin this to make it look like anything other than a self inflicted wound. Hubris and karma caught up with Pat Riley. Heat "culture" takes a hit.
With: Lowry, Jaquez, Jovic, Love, ORobinson, DRobinson, Bryant, Highsmith, Cain, Hampton...waiting in the wings.
I can't wait to see what Jovic, Jaquez, ORobinson, Highsmith and Cain bring to the table this year. 1-2 could be starters and 1-2 more could be solid rotation players...maybe by later this season.
"Dame gave his heart and soul to the City of Portland.
In return the franchise surrounded him with Clowns like Allen, Olshey, Cronin, and Billups. We overpaid guys like Crabbe, Leonard, Turner and that bum Jusuf Nurkic. We traded away valuable assets, blew it in the draft and signed washed up burnt out free agents. Any and every team fleeced us at the bargaining table.
Dame remained loyal until the end.
Now we move forward with the Cronin, Billups, and Ayton. We grossly overpaid Jerami Grant. Somebody will take advantage of Cronin when we trade Jrue Holiday. We have nobody to teach the young guys Scoot, Sharp, Simmons -
Good luck Dame - Love you man.
47 years a Blazers fan - I’m officially done with this franchise.

Blazers could LOSE 1st round pick next year? Lillard revealed Cronin asked him to sit for final 10 games to improve draft position. This will trigger a league investigation and - well, that could be all they need to sanction Portland. My guess is they nullify our pick next year, which could be a Top 5 selection. Huge management mistake, and this sets the team back.
One door closes…another will open. Also Holiday is actually past his prime. He has lost a step physically. Will want huge money next year. Why take on another aging vet strapping the payroll & gutting the roster. No thanks. There will be better options ahead hopefully . Fingers crossed.
lillard doesnt want to be in milw.he wanted the gm to rescind the deal.the deal was done behind lillards back.maybe jimmys on the phone telling him pat will get it done eventually maybe he doesnt report to milw?not sure what the rule is if a player doesnt honor a trade could be a first
I'm glad that this trade didn't happen. Lillard is about to start rapidly declining. We don't need old small players taking up so much of our cap space.

Cam Payne to Milw. The green teams are stacking up to beat the read hot in the east
ok pat its your turn now
Jrue to the Celtics
If we can get Terry Rozier (PG) for DRobinson and a pick, that would be great. If not, Herro for Rozier and Kai (Head Trip) Jones (C).
Starters: Rozier, Herro, Butler, Martin, Bam -OR- Rozier, Richardson, Butler, Martin, Bam

GO HEAT!!!
So are Heat trading for Holiday or what? Jrue is the two way standard... if Cronin picks up the phone now are the Heat willing?
Meanwhile in Portlandia...

i personally dont think milws any better.whos going to defend kyle lowry now lol
I went to Portland site, to see, what fans think about Lillards attempt to return to Portland.
Well, they agree with Cronin.
There goes the best player in franchise history and nobody care.
Nice payback for 11 years of loyalty.
